About
Our History
The Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) was formed in 1987 and is an independent, non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. Since our founding,
ISF has provided over $3 million dollars toward programs that encourage academic excellence, support struggling students and promote
professional development. Our annual operating budget has grown significantly in the past five years to over $1 Million in 2010-2011.
Our Mission, Vision and Core Values
Mission
In cooperation with the Issaquah School District, the Issaquah Schools Foundation drives resources to help all students achieve the promise of their academic potential.
Vision
We strive to be the unifying organization that enables the Issaquah School District to provide access to exceptional opportunities district-wide that ignite learning, improve educational outcomes and prepare all students to be confident, competent and engaged citizens.
Core Values
- We put students’ needs first.
- We create opportunity.
- We collaborate with our partners to accomplish our mission.
- We seek innovation that works.
- We focus on results.
- We recognize, respect and build relationships with our donors.
Fundraising
Issaquah School District parents actively provide much needed support to the
schools and the Foundation. The majority of our income
comes directly from parents and other individuals within
our community. In addition to our major fundraising
events (Nourish Every Mind Luncheon and All in for Kids Annual Fund Campaign), we welcome donations to our Annual Fund throughout the
year.
You may make contributions directed to specific programs, if desired. Donations
can be made via this website or mailed directly to ISF.
You may also contribute by designating ISF in your
employer's United Way Campaign.
Your donations allow ISF
to help fill the financial gaps and provide needed tools
and programs to both the teachers and students of the
district.
Thank you for your support!
